Crying Stone

Once upon a tima there lived a young girl and her mother in a small village. the girl was very beautiful but very lazy. she never helped her mother o do anything. every day she just dress up and admired her beauty in the mirror. besides, whatever she wanted she must get it. this made her mother very sad.

one day the mother asked her daughter to accompany her to market to buty something. she agreed with one condition. she said, "OK, but i don't walk to walk beside you. you have to walk behind me."with a sad heart, the mother agreed. so the girl walked in front and her mother followed behind her, carrying a basket. of course, they looked very differentr. the daughter very beautiful in her pretty dress whereas her mothe looked very old in her simole dress. all the way to themarket, people always greeted the beautiful girl and asked who the old woman behind her was. the girl always said that the old women was her servant. tis made the mother very upset, but she did nothing.

at last, the mother cuold not stnad hearing her daugter's words anymore. she prayed to God to punish her daughter and God answered her prayer. slowly but sure, the change happened to the girl. first the girl's legs turned into stone. then continued to the upper parts of her body. the girl began to panic, "Mother, please forgive me!" She asked for her mother's apology repeatedly, but her mother said nothing. Than the bad daughter just cried and cried. Finally her whole body turned into stone.

until now you can still see the tears falling down the stone. That is why people call it "Crying Stone".
